I got my hands on a gransfor hatchet last week. Actually the store had all of them in stock. I can confirm two things, 1. they ARE sharp as humanly possible and you CAN shave with them. 2. They are VERY expensive. I just couldn't spend the better part of a $100 for one just yet. I've still got my Hudson Bay Cruiser and I just bought that fiskar this summer and it hasn't even seen the woods yet, but If you ain't cheap like me and you want something to hand down to your grandkids this would be the thing. . PS my nephew is getting one for christmas the lucky little devil.
