Roundhouse: Those are commonly called 5th wheel haulers. They're great for hauling 5th wheel trailers (horse or people trailers) but can't handle as much weight as some people claim since the engine/transmission are automotive/truck instead of commercial truck components.

Also without the turbocharger, it's very gutless.

Adding the turbocharger, etc. could add $5K to the final price.

Did I miss where it said it did not have a turbo?
Most all the 1995 5.9 Cummins I know of have them.

The Automatic Trans is where you would have trouble. Ford & Dodge both had problems with their ATs behind their diesels

Does anyone else think it looks like they made the body/cab out of a E350 van?

TM: I assume that unless listed, it doesn't have one - the Turbodiesel option is a selling point. Cummins DOES ship their diesels w/o turbochargers for low-horsepower applications like bakery vans, etc.

crAlt: Thanks for pointing that out - I never really looked at the dash - just read the description. Most Dodge Cummins Turbodiesels are listed as such!

Odds are you're correct, it's a PU motor instead of a Commercial diesel.

Edited to add: Checked pic of dash - definitely aftermarket tach and pressure gauge. I think you hit the nail on the head, and he dropped in a Dodge Cummins t/d Pickup engine, possibly from a wreck - I'd definitely skip it then.
