Roast a rabbit in an open pan until nearly done. Season with salt and pepper, add 2 cups red wine, and cook until done basting with the wine.

CLC: I've decided not to put a fence around the garden next year - DH can sit there with a .22 to keep the rabbits out - I may get to try out this recipe. Thanks.
