I took a recipe for split pea soup from here and made it in my crock pot. Last night and this morning it did not smell too good. I was seriously wondering if I had wasted all the ingredients. Today when I went home for lunch it smelled like heaven. I will be serving it for dinner, I like slow cooking soups and stews, all the meats melt in your mouth and the legumes are nice and creamy. I will be sure to use this site more often. Thanks squirrels!
